Ah yes, just like many women before me, I have gotten married and have decided to create a blog. This decision has come from much thought. At first I was against the idea. Why in the world would anyone care about what Nate and I were doing with our lives? Are we interesting enough to warrant the creation of a blog? What would I write about? Is it worth my time? After much deliberation, I figured if people (such as myself) are willing to spend hours on websites like
Pinterest,
Iwastesomuchtime.com, and
Facebook, then people might take a minute or two and read this blog. If not I guess at least I will have some type of history that perhaps I can look on later. Lets just call this me doing my family history.
Also, if you saw the name of this blog and scratched your head, then let me explain the name. I told Nate that I was thinking of creating a blog. He shrugged and said he didn't really care whether I did it or not. As I started bouncing names off of him. He would respond, "That's too generic" or "Why would we do that?" So I finally asked him to start thinking of ideas. We looked up adjectives that started with an I online. There were several contenders but Nate saw Indefatigable and decided that it was a good choice. It jumped out at us because it was the name of Horatio Hornblower's ship. We have been watching the series and hope to watch more if the library ever gets them. I also liked it because then I secretly hooped that any readers wouldn't get tired of us too quickly.
Anyway, onward to life in the Inkley family. This summer has been very eventful. We kicked off the summer with my graduation. I graduated Magna Cum Laude in Human Resource Management with a Minor in Family Finance. My parents flew out for the occasion and it was really fun to see them. They helped me move into the apartment Nate and I would be living in. They came to my Graduation. It was very fun!
Nate is working again this summer at ATK. He definitely likes his team more this summer than last summer. He also just finished a class for his masters program. So during his hour commute to and from Promontory and during his lunch hours he would watch lectures and work on his homework. It all paid off and I am happy to say that Nate got an A!
This summer I have been working at a Pediatric Dentistry office as a Dental Assistant. It is not what I imagined I would be doing after graduating college, but it is pretty fun. Until that dream job comes up I am enjoying working with kids all day. It is defiantly challenging sometimes (screaming children that make your ears ring for a long time isn't real great), but I enjoy it overall. I have really fun coworkers and the kids are so fun! Plus I now know exactly how I am going to keep my future children from having super healthy teeth!
We have had a lot of fun adventures this summer. I guess I will just start with pre-wedding events. We have been hiking up the canyon several times (only got lost once). We gone swimming at Pineview and the Rec Center. We have been able to go see some of the awesome movies. We have walked around Logan and have really gotten to know the area better. We have been able to visit a lot of family and go to a lot of awesome family parties. More details below.

Though this isn't a picture from the hike, we hiked around Snowbasin one weekend. It was really fun! |

I have a handsome husband! This is us playing at Pineview. |

We went to the Hill Air Force Base Airshow |

Nate and I at the airshow. It started raining halfway through but we got to see lots of cool planes.
